About This Attraction

Romanija

Romanija is a mountain situated in the eastern part of the Republika Srpska, BiH. It serves as the natural southeastern continuation of the Central Bosnia Mountain range, which runs from Ravna (near Zenica) to Ozren (Sarajevo). To the northwest, you’ll find Ozren, and to the south, the long Jahorina massif stretches. This mountainous region encompasses the area between Jahorina, Ozren, and the Kuštravica mountain. Nowadays, Romanija serves as a getaway destination for those who seek bonding with nature and a dose of adventure. One of its trademarks is Via Ferrata ‘Sokolov Put’, a rewarding experience that most can participate in. Romanija and its surroundings are also attractive throughout the year, as visitors can relish winter sports activities at the nearby Jahorina Ski Resort, nestled on the southern slopes of Romanija.
